Drinking bottle question

My babies are from a rescue and they had water in bowls not bottles, i put a bottle up on the hutch but they didnt seem to have a clue what it was so have now put water in a little bowl which they seem fine with, would you change to a bottle? if so how, or just keep using the bowl?

I would have a bottle up too and hope they find it. It is fine if you have space for a bowl. The only thing is you have to change it often as it gets dirty. My gang like to use a bowl and bottle

I would use both - have the bottle above the bowl. Bowls have the tendency of getting dirty very quickly so you need to change them at least twice daily; some piggies even like to use them as WC! mallethead

Hopefully, eventually your little ones will be nosey enough to try out the bottle, which you will need to change daily to keep the water fesh and attractive; please do not use any additives as that rather seems to put piggies off. You can also show them later on when they are more familiar with you how to move the ball.

Use both. Bowls can be tipped and pollutes with faeces etc so bottles are alot more hygienic but until you physically see both pigs using the bottle then dont remove the bowls.
