Drinking more!

My eldest boy (almost 6) has started drinking more the last few days, I would say around 80ml in 24hours. He's never been a drinker so it is unusual for him. His poops are all abit misshaped. Would say wet more than soft. And he has a crusty left nostril this morning. He still has a very good appetite, hes not lost weight (he gets weighed twice daily, morning and evening) and still has lots of energy so zero lethargicness. I am expecting a call from the vets today and most likely taking him tomorrow to be seen but anyone have any idea what might be going on? Respiratory, Uti, Kidneys. Something else?

Suddenly drinking more an be as a result of any one of several issues - urinary infections, stones, kidney issues or diabetes - so hopefully the vet can shed some light on what might be happening.

Thank you. Still waiting for the call. They close at 8 though.
Just hope its nothing serious and /or manageable. Love that boy so so so so much.
