COVID-19 Drive through testing, isolation 🤦‍♀️

Oh sending hugs @Emx93 an unclear result must be so frustrating after you and your little girl went through the stress of the test and the waiting! Fingers and paws crossed the next test gives a clear negative x

Oh dear, whole house been tested now, lunas temp spiked over 39degrees overnight, me and Sam feel like we've been hit by a bus and have coughs, lexie remains healthy but the test site looked at the rest of us and wanted to test her too. Fingers crossed for just a nasty non covid bug 😑🤦‍♀️🤞 scarily lexie the currently only healthy one had a high temp and cough and was really poorly with it early March, but it was when they were saying only covid if you've been abroad xx
 
Thankyou, I'm glad they tested lexie when they did as she's now down too, that's all of us, I'm hoping it's just a really bad cold and the 39degree temps are just out immune systems not been used to it after being home for 6m xx

Thankyou 💖 no results yet unfortunately but the girls now have snot so I'm leaning towards a very bad cold 🤒🤔 I think 6 months of not many colds has weakened our immune systems or something 😂 we all have our taste and smell though so I doubt it's corona, us parents seem to be worse off than the children 🤔

Paws crossed its just a "back to school" cold, my daughter and baby grandson were sent for testing yesterday because he is very snotty and has a bit of a teething temperature, the childminder wouldnt take him unless they had a negative test... luckily baby Alfie didnt mind the testing and thought that Mummy sticking a swab up his nose was hilarious!

Luna didn't mind it either luckily! It was the temps of 39+ that were worrying me more than the coughs and stuff. Headache and sore throat has been the worst ones for me, along with dizziness, fever and every joint and muscle hurting, a perticularly nasty cold i think! Poor Sam has taken man flu to an all new level though I have genuinely never seen him so ill I did get scared yesterday I admit for the first time since it started I felt scared and a little helpless (how could we have possibly caught the plague after 6months of being so ocd I won't even let family within 6feet of us!) xx
 
I hope we all get the all clear before Friday I am supposed to drop babybelles wee sample at the vets to check the e coli is gone! The last time I had to do a repeat sample of callies poo we were in isolation with lillie and her tonsillitis! I'm also supposed to get my flu jab Saturday but pretty sure I can't have it with being ill so I should ring and cancel! Every year I have to rearrange due to getting a cold 😂🤨 every time 🤦‍♀️
 
My partner went to get a test voluntarily as he had a few symptoms... well, it was only 10 mins away from home.. basically a disused piece of land with the little mobile units on it... I started to laugh as it looked like a set from a film... He decided to do the test himself... He started to gag,.. I started to gag... then I couldn't stop laughing... I did try... Results came the next night - negative.... thank goodness...
