I've always used Gertie but am looking to change because of all the concerns on here. I don't want to feed them pelleted food. What options are there for other mixed foods like Gertie please?

A lot of people like the Tesco guinea food. The one in the purple colour bag. Or there's Wagg guinea muesli. Can't comment on the PAH muesli, but i'm sure someone here must use / have used it :)

I use the tesco one in the purple bag as mentioned and by boys love it :)

Just curious incase there's something I should know, why don't you want to feed a pellet food? Mine have only ever had Pets at Home nuggets and Burgess Excel Pellets so I can't help, sorry.

Thanks, will try one of those.

Jane - nothing wrong with the pellets at all, it's just I prefer the idea of giving them a mixed food. Just a personal choice really, I can't convince myself about the pellets so would like to try other options.

I had one piggie on the burgess super guinea muslie he lived six years and always had the same food. the pellet stuff was not available back then. I have used the tesco purple bag one for Rimmer he was on it before I got him and used it untill he was used to excell pellets. He did select feed as did my sows who were on the burgess muslie so on advice I changed them. I also used wagg crunch for the foster piggies they select fed too so started to change them over to pellets which they loved. If you want to change food go for it the burgess super guinea mulsie is what I would go for.
