Dry Food/nuggets Amount

Hi. So I was wondering how much dry food a 8 year old piggie needs a day? I normally give her a handful daily. I don't think it's wrong. More curiosity.

Do you mean pellets? My young two eat about 15 grams a day each. Although the guides say baby guineapigs should have more they prefer their hay and veg and will leave the pellets in their bowls. Older ones I understood are supposed to have about 10 grams or less.

Thankyou. That's about what I give her. And yes nuggets, pellets, dry food. Everyone calls them something different.

I'll be honest, I don't measure mine out. That sounds about right to me, I probably do about that for my pigs but it doesn't really hang around long enough to notice

I give out 1/8 of a cup in the morning and the same at night to share between two adult guinea pigs. I don't know how much that is in grams though.
