We have 2 piggies and feed them fresh veg and fruit. We also give them Gerty Guinea Pig food, but lately they have been leaving loads of it.

Would anyone be able to recommend anything else?

What do you think of Guinea Pig Nuggets, then they would not leave loads?

Thanks for you help

sally

i have not tried nuggets, I have always been using P@H guinea pig museli and they never leave any. No complaints from my piggies so I ive it a big thumbs up O0

Supa Excel is great but they often turn their noses up at it
Tesco mix is good-the purple bag, not the rabbit and guinea pig one

Sounds like you have selective feeding piggies like mine were ::) I changed over to excell pellets and now they eat it all :) But remember the dried food is only 5% of their daily diet 80% is hay and 15% veggies. If your thinking of changing over do it very slowly.

My piggies are currently on Wagg guinea pig crunch, I changed them onto this from a different brand mix and they prefer Wagg. They do leave some bits but thats the trouble with any muesli mix food, P@h nuggets are good and there is a lot less waste or you could try Wagg optimum pellets.

Mine Burgess Supa Guinea Excel...it is a nugget and they love it ;) You could try them on PAH nuggets, Science Selective or the one I use...it will stop them selectively eating it and they will get all the nutrients they need :D

Thanks for all your replies, they have been very helpful

i will try a few and see which one they like

Supa Excel has the most votes so i will try that one first

thanks again :)

Try not to chop and change the pellets ;) they will refuse to eat them at first ::)but keep giving them it and slowly reduce the gerty or which ever muslie they have its better for them in the long run and better on your purse as there is no waste in pellets/nuggets :)
