Dry Skin And Sore On Ear (photo Attached)

I don't know if it is due to the scratching or another reason but there is also dried blood. I have a vets appointment booked for Wednesday but was wondering if any more experienced piggie owners may have an inkling to what's causing this ? Thank you !

I think that looks fungal skin infection - a definate trip to the vets ASAP... tagging @helen105281 into this thread. It can be treated with cream if it is fungal. Our baby piggy has just got over fungal ear

Thanks Lee. Yes looks like fungal to me too. Definitely need a vet appointment.

The other possibility is ear mites but the vet should be able to diagnose.
