Dry skin/mites?

They look like hay mites casings (they hatch from them).
Small black specks on the back end of a piggy can indicate hay/fur mites. The specks are the mite egg casings.
Mites themselves are not visible.
You will need to take your piggy to a vet for diagnosis and treatment.

Ooo just to check...do they get into human hair? My kids cuddle the pigs. Also how do we avoid this in the future?
