I am wondering what this is on my piggies ear.

I noticed Ludwig had a small lump on his ear a while ago but when I went to check later it had gone and dried blood was there.

I kept an eye on him and it went away. I then noticed a while later that his ear was a bit bloodied again but as his toenails had been quite long (I couldn't find the nail clippers) I figured he'd cut himself scratching.

I cut his claws and noticed a day or two later his ear had this weird dry skin look.

I'm wondering if he's been scratching from dry skin or something or if he may have something else like fungal.

I would have his ear checked for fungal by a vet.

I also used an anti fungal cream recommend by my vet to treat the area. Darketarin gold it was called. You can buy from most pharmacy's although don't say you are buying it to treat a guinea pig.

Thank you.

I'll give his cage mate a nice bath too then.

Should I bathe my other two? they are in a seperate cage elevated about two foot above Gilbert and Ludwig so I'm not sure?

I will. :)
I'm sure my vets are sick of me visiting. I'm there nearly every month xD

I hope you find out what it is soon and keep us updated! Get well soon little Ludwig:)p
