Today I've noticed Monty has started to get a dry patch next to his nose, he doesn't appear to be scratching it or to be bothered by it and my other piggy doesn't seem to have any problems with his skin, any ideas what this could be?
It'd be worth a vet visit just so they could check to see if it's fungal.
Also, Gorgeous Guineas have a great selection of lotions and creams for various skin conditions. I've had great advice from there before when I emailed over a photo and information.

Hi! Please see a vet for fungal/likely ringworm. It is not at all uncommon in new shop bought guinea pigs. You can reclaim the vet cost if the ringworm has appeared up to two weeks after the sale, which means that the exposure has happened at the shop.
