Drying fleece and liners?

Hi All,

I always line-dry the piggies’ bedding but the recent wet weather has meant it’s not ready in time for the next clean out. Is it ok to put them into the tumble dryer on a cooler setting? Or is that going to affect wicking/ absorbing?

I use fairly thin fleece I bought from a fabric shop and human bed wetting pads.

the main risk will be that fleece can shrink if tumble dried.

Ah OK, thanks, well I am happy to take that risk as I can always add a bit of something else at one end of the cage.

I tumble dried fleece on days I couldn’t hang it outside. Then again I always made the liners slightly larger than the size I need.

I tumble dryy fleeces and they are fine.

I double spin ours and they come out almost dry, we put them on their airer to fully dry.

i dry my fleece liners over a heated airer ! i do not have a tumble dryer.it dries in 12 hours and no shrinkage !

I dry mine in the conservatory on an airer. They are usually dry in 24 hours, even in wet weather.

Mine hang on an airer in the spare room. Dry in a couple of days.

I deny mine in a tumble dryer. But it does make a awful mess with their hairs. Which I brush off as much as I can before washing

I just hang the fleece liners on the clothes line we have in the spare room. It is usually dry the next day. We have an oil heater in that room on during this season anyway.

they shouldn't do..... what do you wash them in?
