i was wondering that, think you gonna need a bigger one when the little ones grow. They are beautiful droolx)

They are all very lovely! I like my tricolours.

However, I agree that your boys will need more space once the youngsters hit about 4 month old and the big hormones suddenly strike. We usually recommend 2x5 ft (60x150cm) space for two boars on this forum, and three would need even more. Thankfully, there are creative ways you can work around a lack of space if you are having problems. Have a look in our housing section!

Hi, thanks.:)

The cage is two tier and each level is 100cm x 53cm. It is ok just now but I realise that they will need a bigger cage soon.

I am worried about using the c&c method as I also have two dogs and worry about keeping the pigs safe. Also it is hard to get the materials where I live.

I am getting lots of replies about this on my thread in the introductions section of the forum. :)

Have you checked if Amazon deliver to your area? That is were I got my grids from. Your cage really is too small. Do you allow your piggies floor time each day? They will really need that in the meantime.

There are place like zooplus that sell cages at reasonable prices over the internet; I bought one of those when I rehomed a copuple of girls from the RSPCA. http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches_cages/guinea_pig_cages

I have also seen cages that used a deep bookshelf (or two) to create a stable multilevel cage that was fronted with plexiglas.

Thanks for all your replys. I have got plenty to think about! My pigs need lots of space, the cage has to be dog proof and cost is also a consideration. The website selling the C&C kits looks great, thanks, doglovinpiggylover! I did not know about them. My only worry about this is the dogs, especially my springer spaniel as he is really clever and these dogs are experts and finding their way into impenetrable places - that's why the police use them as drug sniffer dogs!

The cage does seem to be meeting the guinea pigs needs at the moment as it does have two full levels to it. I am giving them lots of floor time every day too. My hallway is good for this (once the dogs have been put in the utility room) as it has a tiled floor and is safe with nowhere for them to get stuck and no cables etc for them to chew.

ha ha your house sounds like mine, hide the dogs away to get the piggies out into the hallway!

Piggies are gorgeous x)

Zooplus are excellent for customer service and delivery, we have a ferplast 120 and give our girls lots of floor time. Thanks for sharing your pigtures
