I have to say he's a quick learner!

Despite not being an indoor pig before and probably not associating the sound of a rustle with food he has caught on at super quick speed and is WHEEEEEK all the time. He and Dolly are the only guineas in and they are so loud - I was only putting something away!

Also when he wheeeeeeeeeks his little ears wagggle ahhhhhh

AWWW - I adore Wheekers with wiggly ears!

Looks like he knows that he's landed in clover...

Aww, that's lovely to hear he has 'wheeeeeked'. I know what you mean when you say you were putting something away etc, as it's the same for me. I only have to accidently clank their bowls and little Dotty starts wheeeking. We've noticed this past week that she actually has a kind of wolf whistle wheek, LOL! :) At the end of the wheek, she kind of whistles as if you are whistling with your fingers in your mouth. So funny honest. ;)

Amazing how quickly they learn that! Took Sancho all of a day to figure out what he had to do to get more food. :)) Cracks me up when he does it because he's all macho man about making the noise but as soon as I get close he runs for his life!

Well done Duke, he sounds such a sweetie.

Gertie learnt it in a day too and taught Johnny within a couple of houts when he arrived. I have been off sick the last couple of days and haven't been able to go in the kitchen without them wandering out from their bed under the coffee table and wheeking. Last night I was getting their herbs and grass which is on the bedroom windowsill and when I came into the living room they were looking for me and Gertie had her little paws on the draught excluder which blocks the kitchen door and had her head in the kitchen to see if I was there. Cute.

Aww great to hear that he is settling in and he has found a very loving home with you and your family forever. :)

Thats so cute! Dotty sounds sweet.

Okay both Duke and Dolly just did their first popcorns! They are housed side by side and I put some Oat hay in for them as a treat - Dolly had a nibble then did a big popcorn and run about and Duke sniffed his and did the same. Ahhhhh bless. :)
