you go inbetween the quotes and press your enter button to create a space to write in

When you click on the + it'll turn to a - and behind it will go orange, do it for every post you want to quote then on the last
one aswell as pressing the + press the 'quote' button

Do you have to be in the message you want to quote when you hit that button?

Well, I have to say, I still can't understand it, and don't know how I managed it those times I was playing around. You're right - so long as multiple people don't make helpful quotes,I shall probably continue to manage quite well.
