So Duncan is the smaller, yet dominant pig. He recently had a vet checkup and is healthy, seems to have settled at a steady 1 kilo, yet his shoulder bones (I THINK that's what they are, you know what I mean) seem to feel a bit prominent, and he just feels a bit skinny. However, he seems totally fine, and the weight gain wasn't like a sudden spike, it just gradually increased and settled. So, is that just the way he's built? He doesn't feel horrifyingly skin and bones or anything, I'm just wondering if he is just a naturally thin pig or not.

Hi! You don't measure the heft around the bones, but around the rib cage. Like with humans, guinea pigs have very different "figures", adult weight and sizes.
The Importance Of Weighing - Ideal Weight / Overweight / Underweight

Duncan has a good adult weight, so there is no reason for worry. The dominant piggy is not necessarily the larger one! There are some real small power bundles around!
