Hi All,

Just purchased some Dust Free Hay from the Dust free Hay site obviously! ;D I have tried Timothy Hay but it runs so expensive for 11 pigs I was spending £8.33 a week as a £25.00 bag was lasting 3 weeks. I will get that as a treat sometimes though.

Apparantly this hay is 2.5Kg and 1Kg does me a week for their feed so it should last 5 weeks bringing my weekly hay bill down to £3.20.

Will keep you all posted on how long it lasts I know its a common question before people purchase it!

oh brilliant! ive been using meadow hay from pets at home but i think it may be whats causing one of my ladys to sneeze. i shall be getting some of this ;D Mine get Timothy to munch on, it really gets them wheeking. O0

Timothy is fab, just so expensive. I'm in Liverpool and just can't get any decent hay even Herbage is not as good as it was in the summer. I need the dust free hay stuff as I suffer with Hayfever and Timothy sets me off big time! ;D

Yeah it is expensive isnt it. i havent got enough money to use it as anything but a munch! Aw you poor thing, maybe my piggie has hayfever from it too. or just sneezes coz she seems fine apart from that ;D

Pudsey is always sneezing, not so much now but when I first got him he was forever at it. He does have allergies to woodhshavings so I was never concerned he must be like me. :D

I always buy the dustfree hay doesn't work out too bad £39.99 for 10 sacks of hay delivered O0... If it gets very cold and I really need to pack the bunnies sheds and piggie cages I'll buy a cheap sack of hay. We can't get any decent hay around here so have to order the dustfree and the buns and piggies love it.

Sounds good Karen, will be saving up to buy it in bulk if it works out cheaper.

;D
