The hay at our local pet store has been ropey of late which has meant the 'Bellies' have been leaving it more and more so I have been putting lots more Oxbow Timothy Hay in their cage which in turn means I may now have to sell a kidney to fund their habit :))

Soooooo tried dustfreehay.co.uk again today after taking a break from them. OMG it is like piggies gone made they are destroying their Soft Hay so a big thumbs up recommendation from me and paws up from them on the current batch available

I feel your joy (and pain).
Hay quality here varies enormously depending on the season, and I hadn't realised I had become so obsessed with the whole thing until we were in the farm shop recently and DD1 said;
'Mum, do you really need to sniff each bag of hay? People are staring.'

I wonder why the kids never want to come shopping with me.....

I can't help but feel a little jealous and a little depressed for my piggies of all the choices of hay you guys have over in the UK. If it wasn't for the pet supply store iv'e recently found that sells the Oxbow products I would have to resort (and have) to feeding the piggies cheap supermarket rubbish and you totally get what you pay for with the supermarket hay :(. Iv'e found some hay recommended on the forum on ebay and amazon so things are looking up :)

The Oxbow hay is really decent hay though the piggies think but it's heaps expensive.

I bought some DustFreeHay at a show a couple of years ago for other rodent people (who use with it and nibble, but don't depend on it as a main foodstuff). While my friends who had bought it loved it, I found my bale incredibly dusty and in the end threw it out. Maybe I just had the end of a batch or something, but it's put me off the company. I wouldn't have been so disappointed if the company had had another name!

A couple of boxes of their soft hay really affected both of my piggies' breathing. I now shake it a lot in a pillowcase before I give it to them.

I've not bought any of a while now as I've changed jobs and can't get it delivered to work anymore.

But when I did, and if I had any issues I'd let them know and they'd sort it out. They had pretty good customer service.
