We have just cleaned out are Ferplast 140 cage and put Fitch in for the fiirst time. We have not put newspaper as gets wet and soggy. Really impressed with Fitch however Polly apears to have white things on her like bits of dust?:help:

Always best to let any kind of loose bedding settle a bit first, as it's very hard to guarantee that any bedding is completely dust and bit free.

Thats Cagney my heart piggy. She is a huge character and very very cheeky. She lives on her own as she no longer likes other guineas (boy have we tried to sort that one out!) but she is very happy being near her friends without touching them. She nearly died last year when she had pneumonia but she recovered and all thats left is a slightly weak heart which we manage. I love her to pieces and she is very much a 'mummys' girl! This is her in her usual place:

Oh and she is the only guinea I know that rushes up to the bars of her cage for her meds and practically snatches the syringe from you! One of the easiest guineas I have ever had to medicate. She thinks Fortekor (her heart tablets) are sweets ! I will get a picture, she sits and waits by the bars on her little cushion...if I am too slow she shakes the bars with her teeth...cheeky monkey.
