Dwarf guinea pigs?

There has been a advert in our local Scot-ads selling dwarf guinea pigs. Initially I did wonder if it was a mistake for dwarf hamster- some of the adverts written are hilarious due to spelling mistakes- but they are priced at £15, so I thought it was less likely to be a hamster.
Has anybody heard of this before?
