So we have one pig biting the other pig's ears. I've been told over and over that it is just hierarchy establishment but it has been going on for some time now.

If it were just nips I wouldn't be so worried however the bitten pig cries when I pet him due to hurt ears.

Is there anything I can do to get him to stop? Is there something I can put on the pig's ears to deter him from biting?

I don't think there's anything you can safely put on the piggy's ears. Has blood been drawn?

If bites are occurring and it’s been going on for longer than hierarchy establishing would take, things are tense and they don’t seem happy, then it is possible their relationship simply isn’t working out. You don’t want consistent injuries being caused.

Have a look at this guide for further information on working out whether they can remain together
Bonds In Trouble

There isn’t anything you can put on the ears to stop biting.
