My daughter was just carrying
Out her usual micro examination of the piggies and noticed one piggy had quite waxy ears. My first thought was too leave well alone as I assume the wax protects the ears. But should I just wipe them gently with a damp cloth?

You can wipe them gently. If the wax is really bad, I would have the ears checked by a vet rather than manipulating on your own or pouring unsuitable things down. Some guinea pigs are more prone to producing too much wax.

Thanks, I'll just do a gentle wipe and keep and eye on her. I didn't realise that some gp's were prone to wax. Thanks for the advice.
