Really annoyed! I noticed my boys had waxy looking ears when I got them but it wasn't til I was looking at my friends pigs the other day I sort of compared ears & now tonight I've had a good snoop & I'm pretty sure both my babies have ear mites ;(

Both have reddish dirty insides of their ears & tonight I noticed Rufus has a White crusty earlobe. According to google, symptoms of ear mites. Agreed?

Lovely. Vets tomorrow for me ;(

I'm gutted, just when they're settled & happy they'll have to be tortured at the vets ;( I hope it's not too frightening for them ;(

They have either a burrowing mite, fungal infection or ringworm. Which is just great seen as I've been kissing them for 3 weeks :x

Rodney just has waxy looking ears, but Rufus has a white crust on his earlobe and white crusty bits inside one of his ears. They've been treated for mites, and have 2 further treatments for me to do at home and if it hasn't cleared up it will likely be ringworm.

All costing me so far, £76 :)>>>

I'm praying it is a mite & this teatment will kill it off.

They were very brave bless them, not even a squeek.

mine has this and is currently being treated for ear mites - cant think what the stuff is called though the vets gave me, but it is deffo clearing it up.

I'm worried it's ringworm & it's all over my flat. What do yours ears look like?
