So I have two piggies named Lily and Luna. recently I've been noticing this crusty substance from the fur around both of their ears. I cleaned it off thinking it was just dirt but it came back. I looked in both of their ears today and Lily's ears looked very dry and kinda of scaly (I can't think of a better word) and Luna's were just dry looking. I was thinking of taking them to the vet but I was unsure. Am I just being paranoid or what? Any advice would be appreciated

Hi and welcome!

Please have the ears vet checked for fungal or ear mites; rather less likely wax. He can give you the appropriate product to treat them with according to his findings. That should take care of whatever it is.
