Who invented clip-on ear-rings? People have had piercings since the begining of time, so who would choose agonising clip-ons? Victorians? 1920s? Anyone know?

I know they were made around the 1930's, don't who by though!
I had mine pierced when I was 13 after kicking up so much fuss that clip-ons hurt!

I had mine done first when I was 12.
Then again at 19.
Then again at 28.
So I have six in all!
Clip-ons are ridiculous - the pain is terrible!

I got 3 lots too. That is if they haven't closed over! I'm always forgetting to put ear-rings in! LOL
Gosh they are awful! My aunt has had to wear them (the big clip-ons) in the past, but now has magnetic ones that don't hurt.

Yeah i had my ears pierced when i was 6 and they healed up so i had them done again when i was 12 and they have been fine.
Clip ons are awful and i can never get them level in each ear ;D

I had mine piecred when i was 9 i think but i torn the left on out the christmas after so now i have one hole lol
