Here is Bluebell! Being a teddy she gets very dry skin. Her and her sister Buttercup have just had their 4th weekly bath in Nizoral just in case. They are both very good at having baths 😁
Obviously no one at her old home checked her ears. This one is the worst - rock hard wax. Luckily her ear canal unblocked itself just after she arrived! We've been applying coconut oil to soften it and have slowly been removing pieces and it's so much better already.
Here is a pre-clean picture - hope no one is squeamish 😅

Poor girl. So glad you’re giving her such great care.
She’s a lucky and very cute girl.

I didn’t know teddies were prone to dry skin.
I’ve never been aware of Jemimah having a problem.
Is this something I should look out for?

Poor girl! I hope that she feels better soon!

I find that my teddies (not all of them, but generally the ones that have also got the breed typical skin problems) are the ones that are most prone to having an ear wax problem. Not sure whether it is a breed issue or just a coincidence.

I heard teddy's and Rex's are prone to dry skin.
