hello

i just noticed my guinea pig has something crusty on the edge of each of his ears? should i be concerned . he is well in himself and no behavioural changes

I’m afraid I’d be simply guessing as I don’t know anything about your piggy, how old he is or where he has come from. But those look like they have been rather well nibbled ears to me (as if he’s been a bit bullied). I’ve no idea how long you’ve had him, or when these appeared. But crusty edges could be scabs from injuries or be fungal (ringworm) which is transmissible to humans. Either way it’s not normal, so the best advice is to get him seen by a vet.

Hi, I agree with the above advice, a vet visit is needed in case it is fungal.
Also, I wondered, are you a bts fan? Going by your username.
