Hi all, hope you can help me?

I have been find loads of small insects that look like earwigs when i clean my girls hutch.

They are bedded on shavings and hay, with newspaper on the floor, and cleaned religiously every weekend.

Pigs are clean and healthy.

Any idea's? Are they a problem?

Thank you

I think I would clean them out more often than once a week, especially in the hotter weather, Mine get cleaned out 3 times a week :) This reduces the risk of flystrike and insect invasion!

Gorgeous guineas do a powder you sprinkle on the bedding and guineas to deter insects, this may help :)

Perhaps just use newspaper and hay, and change daily at the moment?
