Earwigs seem to like to go under the fleece liner even though I just changed it today.

I ordered Pestavert essential oil spray from small pet select but it probably won't come till Monday.

I saw three earwigs near the cage tonight.

Any tips on getting rid of them before the spray comes?

Please do not use the spray anywhere in the room, near or on your piggies.
Essential oils, Fragrance sprays, scents or candles should never be used around guinea pigs. Piggies have narrow airways and any such products can cause respiratory problems.

That spray, I’ve just looked it up so hopefully I’ve found the right one, looks to be designed to kill external parasites and sprayed directly on the fur of the animal where they are living on the animal as their host such as mites, lice, flea, ticks. It is never the kind of thing that is safe to use or the correct treatment even if your piggies did have mites or lice.
The essential oils could harm piggies if they came into contact with it physically, and as I say the smell would cause problems within their airways.

You need to use the vet grade, piggy safe, disinfectant called F10. Hopefully you can get it.
You can get it either ready made or in a concentrated version. Concentrated is best as you can make it up to the strength needed for the type of issue you are dealing with. I would go quite strong for in this case. F10 is so good and is the recommended cage disinfectant to use. It even kills ringworm.
I use it at strength to do my deep cleans around every six weeks, but use it also made weaker as a general cage cleaner.

You need to get your hoover out and give the cage a good hoover. The eggs look like tiny black dots you need to hoover up every one that you can see.

Years ago I had an invasion of earwigs in my hutch. It took weeks to get rid of them. I did this by hoovering it thoroughly out twice a week and liberally spraying it with F10. F10 is the only thing that kills the eggs. Good luck. You will get there. Please don't use the essential oil spray.
