Earwigs

is it just me or are there loads of earwigs around this year? I've never had this many in my piggies hutch before - even their run has loads on it!

I stripped the hutches down at the weekend and gave it a thorough clean with disinfectant - I've also sprayed it with Johnsons cage & hutch spray. Hopefully this will do the trick.

anyone else having the same issue?

I don't have guinea pigs, but my feral cat's kennel is FULL of the wretched things. I shake out the bedding several times a day, and loads of them drop off. I've even found them in my bathroom which is upstairs, so I've no idea how they get up there.

I don't think I've ever seen so many before.

Fortunately I havent seen any for a while. I can tolerate most bugs/creepy crawlies even very large spiders but earwigs and centipedey things I cant deal with at all. They make me shudder and I do actually run away if I see them

I found one on my bedroom ceiling last night... IN MY BEDROOM!

They are everywhere this year. I hate the . I think the warm spring helped them; but this is insane. Last year I don't recall finding a single one. This year they are in every single hutch. When my shed arrives I definitely need a way to keep them out; I definitely don't want them in there!

I never saw 1 last year, But just recently they are everywhere, hiding in our garden umbrella, when 2 fell out of it when I put it up I nearly died :S
Only saw 1 in the hutch and squidged it lol
