I've bought easimec for my guinea-pigs and it arrived today. Edie and Willow both have signs of mites but Marmalade doesn't have any bald patches or anything, but Edie and Willow have had mites on and off since I've had them but Marmalade never has, is it ok to treat her with Easimec even though she's not showing signs of mites?
Also, like other mite treatments is it best to clean the hutch thoroughly after each treatment?
There was a leaflet with it but it was just instructions of how much to put on the animal.

I never heard of easimec? does it contain ivermectin? With mites all piggies living together need treating.

Easimec is a new topical ivermectin product, but at a lower dosation than xeno 450 and it is given in shorter intervals. I am currently trialling it myself with my own piggies, who have had a mites outbreak.

Please always treat all piggies - even if they don't show symptoms, they can still have eggs in the skin and transmit them. Keep your cage clean to prevent a return.

other skin problems can sometimes look like mites (fungal - not all fungal is ringworm - or dry skin/skin irritation).
