marge.. the piggie in eastenders is alive

And she has a boyfriend. AAAHHHH

marge escaped from her cage and ended up in a bin liner of rubbish that was on the floor, then was accidently put in a workmans fire
When bradley found out he had to buy a new one to replace her, but he bpought a boy.
he put him in the cage, then dot came in and saw a piggie on the kitchen floor next to the cage and it was marge.
so the little girl Abbey will come back from her holidays and find she has 2 guinea pigs now.

what a happy ending
dont supppose it will be long before we hear the patter of tiny paws.
AAAAHHHHHH

I knew that it wouldn't be what the T.V. magazines said it would be. However, I don't like the storyline, as now the guineas will have babies, everyone will see how cute they are and decide they all want to breed guineas. :tickedoff:

if we all open rescues and get up ad running now, by the time all the copycats have bred, we should have enough rescues to take all the babies that are chucked to the side when the storyline gets forgotten!

I agree just said that to the other half " I bet everyone will be wanting to breed pigies cause its acceptable to do on Eastenders" I had a feeling that story line was coming up especially when stacey said its defo a boy >:(

Was SO annoyed when they put the 2 piggies together!
Lets hope they werent REALLY male and female!

Why don't you all write into the shows producers or even the tv station? Tell them what they are portraying, maybe they can change the story line and have them as friends then but not cage mates, or even he could get neutered.... just a thought.

Oh OK, thanks. Just sometimes if you complain here in OZ they will change story lines etc....
What a bummer for you all, so irresponsible arent they :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

::) ah well! Hopefully the fall out wont be too bad! ;D

Do you watch neighbours?

Eastenders have so far acted responsibly in their communication about guineas IMHO and now they have a duty to carry that on by showing what happens when you put a boy and girl together
Or they may choose to add a neutering element to the storyline.

I'm sure that when Max and Tanya get back they will say something about it

Kids are always going to want small pets. They have a school pet or their friends get them and they want them too.
We are never going to get away from that. I dont think this will increase just because of Eastenders. Besides, many parents dont let their children watch it.

Just my opinion

I'm jsut happy that marge is alive

but baradly was quite upset when he throught that she was dead

just got this email

Dear Mrs Kelly

Thank you for your e-mail. Please accept our apologies for the delay in
replying. We know our correspondents appreciate a quick response and we
are sorry you have had to wait on this occasion.

I note your concerns regarding a recent storyline on 'EastEnders'. As you
are probably now aware, the Guinea pig had been placed outside in its cage
by Dot, and very soon after Bradley bought it back inside. There was no
harm to the Guinea Pig. We apologise for any distress caused by this scene.

Please be assured that your comments have been fully registered on our
daily audience log. This internal document will be made available to the
'EastEnders' production team and Senior BBC Management.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to contact us.
