Eating carboard?

would eating carboard harm the in anyway? she eats it when she in her box i got to pick them up in
 
i would like to know this too - though they say you can give empty toilet rolls and those cupboards tubes, so it must be ok!
 
no not at all my morgan used to strip cardboard boxes and pull the thin paper off them, she would grab hold and pull so she had a strip of it then munch away its never harmed her!

i put cardboard boxes in for hidey holes too :) pizza boxes from the take-away make great little hides just open them into a triangle and they love them! so long as you scrape any cheese/bits off first lol
 
I dont think so... alice always chews her cardboard tunnel and the loo rolls stuffed with hay always get half eaten too. Pampered piggies sell paper bags for piggies so i doubt that cardboard would cause any problems. Think i read somwhere once that only thing have to worry about is if it has anything on it... any dyes, inks etc. :)
 
i usually put old shoe boxes in their cage, they love laying in it. they end up laying in the sun on top of it sometimes!!
