I built a C&C cage a couple of weeks ago. Tonight I was horrified to notice that one of the boys has eaten a big chunk out of the correx. I am really worried that it will be bad for them. I don't know which piggy did it, though I have my suspicions. Will he be OK?

Has anyone else had this problem? Should I move them out of the C&C, or is there something I can use instead of correx?

hiya i have a c&c cage but never had the problems with big chunks being biten out if it they nibble a little bit now again but nothing noticeable xx * *** try doing the correx with a bit higher sides so they cant reach to chew it i suppose apart from that I'm not really to sure x

I had a bit round my ramp holeas i thought the babie's would fall down it and they just chewed a whole chunk out of it so i moved it, my pigs don't seem to chew the main tray but now i have liner's that cover allthe correx so you could do that then they couldnt get to it

My splodge has just started to eat the correx. Like inches and inches of the stuff :( he seems ok but it's so irritating!

Mine have nibbled the edge of the Correx. They were pretending they hadn't. They're like, who me? How could you possibly think......
Then Oscar has also chewed three rubber bristles off my dust pan brush which I inadvertently leave in there in between sweeps. They're so funny, they used to be really scared of me leaning over and sweeping up the poops, now they just sniff my hand and generally get in the way! Not scared and very nosy.
I wouldn't worry about them digesting the plastic. Amber once ate a tiny button off my T shirt, I was paranoid it would cause an obstruction, but she was just fine! X x

Same here, mine pull the fleece out the way then chew little bits of the correx, it doesn't seem to have done them any harm :)
