Hi i have a baby gunnie pig is it. Normal for them to eat the dog padding u put in the cage

By dog padding do you mean puppy pads?
Also is your pig alone? -as they should really have a companion especially if it is a baby

If you mean puppy pads then yes, guinea pigs can nibble on them if they get the chance
Are you putting a bedding down on top of the puppy pad such as fleece or hay?
They will possibly still try to get to the puppy pad, but covering the pads as much as possible will help.
Do you have two piggies or just the one? If you only have one, then please do look to get another. Piggies are highly social and should always be kept in pairs. It’s especially important that babies aren’t alone
