Eating everything!

Hi,

My piggies eat everything in sight and I'm worried for their health? They munch on my carpet, towels, vetbed bedding, wallpaper, etc. The list is endless! Should I be worried about this? Surely all that fluff is no good for their digestive systems?

Gosh love i think you need to change their bedding and then keep them away from all stuffs they've been munching on O0
Offer them when out at play time some more hay and pellets and make it fun for them, say in a toilet roll or in a paper bag so they love the idea of hunting for it... this will then make them forget the other 'things' they should not be looking at eating at all :o :o :o :o
This could make them quite ill i'm sure this would not be good for them

Oh no my little piggies
I will have to improvise and make playtime more fun for them!
Although I don't think I will ever stop them munching on my hands/arms when I'm holding them! Crazy pigs!

pigs do like to chew a lot. Mine are either sleeping, popcorning/running or chewing! They have tons of hay, all the time, plus I add lots of dried grass throughout the day. Maybe you could make a pile of hay in the middle of where ever they live?

Yeah mine go through Hay like anything! I've started buying huge bags to save me going back every week!

Maybe if i get them some stuff to nibble/nhaw on off the pampered piggies site it will keep them distracted? They are already big fatties though! Lol.

One of mine had started chewing at my carpet but I think she had been trying to get to some hay that had fallen down behind the cage. One of my piggies loves to eat megazorb - I assume this won't do them any harm. The minute the cage is cleaned out she's away digging down deep to get to it. 98)
