William is being really, REALLY fussy with his food.

Before Keith died he would eat anything and everything put in front of him and sometimes Keith's food too. At the moment all he's eating is cucumber and his pellets ohw and his poops (of course!)

He's getting offered so many different veggies but picking out the cucumber - even then he's only eating the juicy but, not the skin. rolleyes

I'm just worried. :{

I have found that pigs will be a lot less fussy when there is competition as it's a case of eat quickly or miss out.
Have you tried picking some grass and dandelions for him. This might kickstart his appetite. You could also try hand feeding him veg as he might just want a bit of company at mealtimes. I quite often eat a bit of cucumber or apple with my pigs and they will try and take my piece if they finish first.

:)

I bring him out now for veggie time - he either sits on his pillow or in his bed and munches the cucumber.

He also gets a bowl of veg put in his cage when he gets put back, or in his run.

He's had dandelions galore but eats them in secret :))

I guess I am just constantly worried and just watching everything he does like a hawk, because I can't lose him too! Over worrying I guess. rolleyesrolleyes

maybe he's missing his friend and just doesn't feel up to eating. i think you're doing the right thing by keeping him company so he doessn't feel alone. good luck!
