my guinea pig rips newspaper from the bottom of the cage and eats it. is it normal for them to eat newspaper?

My pigs and rabbit eat newpaper all the time and don't seem to by harmed by.

Eating newspaper lining is a national piggy sport. The ink in newspaper is not toxic. It is not ideal, but it is not harmful.
