Eating Newspaper.....

Pippin is a real just lately for eating newspaper ( i line the edges of my C& C with it )

I mean she proper goes for it eating it - I know it won't harm her but just wonder WHY?

Like lovely hay, veggies and pea flake treats aren't enough!

Blodwen is a newspaper eater too, I always put newspaper on the floor for playpen time and Blod tears off huge strips of it to eat even when there's lots of hay on top!

Ruby doesn't eat it, but she adores ripping it into strips, or if we give her strips of newspaper she makes a nest with them in her hay tray.
The other 2 freak out at the sound of newspaper rustling, but Ruby loves the stuff!

Tallulah and Ollie do that too, they have newspaper lining their hay tray and if the hay gets below an acceptable level (to Ollie this is lower than the top of his ears) they rip up the newspaper very loudly and drag it out all over the fleece spilling poops everywhere until more hay arrives!
