So my friend gave me this tunnel that her guinea pigs were too fat for :))

It's like cardboard, and has rope stuff glued around it. They really love it but have started chewing it and there's loads of glue . . . I dunno if it's safe or not.

What do you guys think?

Is there some way of cutting/scraping off the glue?
If not i'd personally not use it........i'm always erring on the safe side of things that way love :)

Oh I think I have that tunnel! But I haven't gave it to mine as I was worried about Tigger getting stuck in it as he has a tendency to dart when I walk in the room rolleyes It says it's ideal for chewing so would imagine the glue to be safe, but I don't know for sure. Sorry, not very helpful lol xox

Thanks guys :)

I can't get off the glue or anything, it's all under the rope stuff, gluing it on. Here's a pic to show you what it's like, modelled by the lovely Shiloh :)

I'm trying to stop them chewing it by giving them even more hay and other things to chew :)) Maybe I'll just let them use it out on the grass cos then they'll be too distracted with yummy grass to eat the tube!

It might be safe glue, but then again it might not :{

Silly piggies :)

oh i was imagining something totally different mallethead

i'm sure someone that's got this tunnel like carrot_and_parsnip have too will make some comments :)
You would think that if they use glue it would be safe.........
