Morning everyone,
So we feed Bubbles in the morning before we leave for school/work.
He has a 50g mix of veggies, this morning was coriander, red pepper, cucumber, and carrot.
I know this is all he is meant to have in a day, plus nuggets and hay but the veggies are gone very quickly.
Would we be better giving him half in the morning and the rest in the evening? Or will he just eat his hay and nuggets if he is hungry?

Is it Timothy hay? Maybe change his brand of hay if he's being fussy. Normally if they see the other piggy eating hay it will encourage the other to eat hay.

It is P@H own brand of hay. We havent got another piggie yet. We adoption Bubbles last Sunday and are waiting a few weeks (as recommended) before getting him a friend.

Ok, we get ours from pets corner, one has flowers in it, another dried dandelion. Mine hated pets at home stuff. We get our meadow hay from the range for the litter box.

So if i get some Timothy Hay for him to eat and use the P@H stuff for him to toilet in? He toilets in all sorts of places in his hutch though - he is an outdoor piggie.
Sorry for all the questions, we just want to make sure we are giving him everything he needs to be a happy and healthy boy.

I also feed veg twice a day, it stops them wheeking the house down when they smell me preparing veg for dinner and gives me somewhere to dispose of my peels and off cuts from my salad.

piggies toilet anywhere ut will naturally poo more where they sleep and eat as they spend more time in those two places. www.dustfreehay.co.uk do very nice soft hayand oxbow timothy hay while expensive is loved by most piggies

We feed a good meadow hay from a local pet supply store as main hay, if this is out of stock we use dustfreehay and also geed oxbow timothy hay daily as a treat

Mine get veggies once a day, although the time of day varies with my schedule. I'm not bothered if they eat it all at once (their enthusiasm varies depending on the menu) as it evens out across the day.

Thank you @acapae we have decided to give him veggies twice a day. We have only had him a week so i am hoping it might help him get used to us. He currently snatches the veggies from his bowl and eats in private!
