Elvis, my dental piggie happily eats nuggets (I offer softened, in case he's having a bad tooth day, and not softened - most days he'll eat both), happily eats veg, happily eats grass, and won't touch hay that might actually help him out.

He does sniff around it a bit, and maybe twice a day I'll see him pick at a couple of bits, but he's just not interested.

I'm 99% sure this is a tooth issue, but just wanted to ask for another opinion. I offer 3 types - ings hay, meadow hay, and Timothy. It's just confusing me because he *can* eat - but is it different for him eating nuggets to eating hay?

Re his teeth - he is being seen by Kim and Simon, I think he's had 5 or 6 appointments now, including one under GA, sadly there's unlikely to be any improvement so it's a case of fortnightly visits up to them until it's too much for either one of us.

It is odd, you have lots of different types of hay too to tempt.

Maybe try some readigrass (this is high in calcium so should only be fed as a treat) this would show if the motion of eating is okay too.

You tried Oxbow Orchard Grass? Not yet met a pig that doesn't love this?

I haven't - I will have a go, anything is worth a try! Thanks
