Hi All,

As promised here are some pics of Eccles. He and Cuzzy have been fine, although rumbling but not teeth chattering. Hope you like him! :D

awwwww as gorgeous as expected! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Aww thanks guys. Yes I am smitten with him too! He is such a sweet little thing. Cuzzy is back in his cage and Eccles is next to him in a smaller cage for the night. Tomorrow they will go back in the C&C pen. I'm bonding them slowly especially as Eccles is so small. Cuzzy was trying to mount him and I was worried he would squash him...lol

So slow is working for us, I think they are smitten with one another though. I don't want to rush it just incase! :D

He is so tiny, I don't think I've had a pig quite so small as him. Cuzzy was small but never that small! I will weigh him in a couple of days when he has settled.

Hi Sammy,

Yep he is 8 weeks, he is currently sitting in his cage watching Kylie, seems to like music! Cuzzy is watching him from his cage.

Awww, what a cutie! :smitten:

I think you are right to take things slowly with the bonding...sounds good so far. O0

So he's teeny weeny :smitten: I do hope he and cuzzy become bestest forever friends ,they are both very special piggies :smitten:
sammy xx

He was probably the runt of the litter. He has had some lettuce (give them that as a treat) and half a carrot. He was on Gerty not keen on that myself but Cuzzy has started eating it and at the mo I'm not moaning as at least he is eating something now.

Also Cuzzy is scratching his ear a lot, probably a sure sign his eat is getting better.

Eccles is gorgeous he looks soooo sweet. So pleased for you Louise. Bet your girls are pleased with him.

Good luck with the bonding I'm sure Cuzzy will love him to bits. :smitten: :smitten:

Keep sending the pics so we can see him grow. :smitten:

Hi Lindsay,

They love him. Emily wanted to hold him tonight but he is very skittish, Peter had a cuddle with him and he calmed down but his little heart was racing so he put him in his cage. Emily got upset over that but in a couple of days he should calm down enough to be groomed! Caitlin just runs around should awww pin pig! They used to be piggys now she is trying to say guinea pig.

Nan said my house will end up like a farm, what does she mean will it already is! :D

Will post some pics up when he settles in more but actually he is looking right at home, can't wait for him to grow! :D

Eccles is very cute Louise. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

He is doing well Emma, he was a bit upset in the night and was crying for Cuzzy. So I put his age in with Cuzzy's and that bucked him up a little. They are back in the c&c and seem ok. Cuzzy mounted Eccles as if to say I'm putting my mark on you and that was it. Going to reduce the size of the c&c tomorrow to the size of Cuzzy's cage which is big enough for him and the little fella for now. Then see how they go on Tuesday in the cage.

Jane, Eccles got his name from Christopher Eccleston who played the Doctor in Doctor Who but I told Peter that he is named after Eccles cakes as I love them too...lol

I didn't realise he was crested until I got him home! 98) He has hair going over the crest and his white bits look like eyebrows so he looks really old like a Time Lord!...lol

It was between him and a rex crested and I really do want a rex but he was bigger than Cuzzy and I thought I can't take the chance.

Thanks Marty and Graham! :) As I'm doing housework the boys are seperated again but Cuzzy is sitting right by Eccles and Eccles is hiding up in his hay having a sleep. Peter keeps ringing me up asking how they are doing...lol Think he is as smitten as I am! Will be nice to have a positive bonding that I've managed to do! :)

Hiya Louise,

Oh my god he is gorgeous! Will keep everything crossed that he and Cuzzy become good friends. I do worry about when one of my girls is left on their own. They do like the company of their own kind eh? Good for you for taking the plunge and getting him a little friend.

Glad you getting on with the fleece ok
