Ecotrition Snak Shaks

Hi,
I recently purchased a Snak Shak treat for the ladies. But when I got it home, I noticed the package said ''for hamster, rats, and mice.'' Silly me, for not reading it before buying it.It is a little tube made of Snak Shack material, stuffed with a seed blend and alfalfa. Is it safe to give to guinea pigs?

I bought one of them once. One of the little log ones. They ate the inner parts, hay and the seed stuff. They are fine after eating it.

I believe those snak shaks are made up of woodshavings and honey so not ideal for piggies at all :{ there is some real junk out there aimed at small pets so if in doubt, leave it out

Unless it says for piggies i don't usually give it to mine, life said above, if in doubt leave it out, better to be safe than sorry ! (:

Ok I think it is best to throw it out. I am worried the small seeds and corn might choke them.
