So sad and so angry! HE was such a wonderful little piggie, dont know if any of you still remember, I got him from P@H where he had been in the adoption centre for a few weeks. He had a head tilt, that never went away.

He was great, such a cute funny little man, and we loved him to bits. He has been eaten well, tucking into everything with gusto. He did do a lot more running in circles, that was a bit worse, but this is with hindsight! Never noticed anything, he had his cuddles this morning, and after coming home earlier on, found him in his cage, just passed away

We (daughter and I) are soo sad. He was only about 8 months old :( :(

He now has a good spot in the garden, with a new plant that will flower every year, and I hope he is now running free and straight at the rainbow bridge with all those that have gone before...

Will miss him like crazy!

I remember Eddie. Am so sorry he has made his way to the bridge. RIP Eddie.

I'm so sorry :( I also had a guinea pig who had similar problems and died young. So sorry to hear about Eddie. RIP :(

I am so sorry - you have given little Eddie all the happiness and love he could wish for. I assume that he had a congenital defect; there is nothing you could have done even had you taken him to the vet! Please don't beat yourself up, but treasure the time you had with this special and beautiful little boy! We all have feelings of guilt whenever one of our piggies dies suddenly; it is the other side of being a caring pet owner.

RIP Eddie - you will always hold a very special part in your mummy's heart!

Thanks guys, cant stop crying, but it helps to talk to people who know what its like, and who understand

what a sweet fella, so sorry you lost him so young, how devastating for you and your daughter.

Rip Eddie, run free little one xxxxxx

Awwww... I am so sorry. I remember you posting about Eddie before. He was very lucky to have a loving family, even if it was only for a short time. There are poor pigs that live long, long lives without ever getting the love or care that he got in his 8 months- quality counts! RIP Eddie and ((HUGS)) to you!

So sorry you have lost beautiful Eddie

RIP Eddie

Me too, I felt so guilty when I found my little Marcello dead on the floor where he had jumped from his open cage. That was on the 4th June. You never really get over it but you learn to cherish the memories, moving forward and giving a new home to rescue piggies is such a wonderful thing and without disrespect to those who have left, it helps as you are doing the right thing.

There is so much love over the Rainbow Bridge ;)
