Eddie's Foot...

Today while trimming nails I saw something on Eddie's foot, it almost looked like dried poop but I don't think it is. He is very squirmy and I am unable to get a picture quite yet. Does anyone have any advice/and or ideas what it could be?

Front paw or back? A picture would help. Many guinea pigs develop spurs under their front paws; the colour depends on the skin.

It's his front paw. My phone broke yesterday, but I will get my Dad to take a picture if Eddie cooperates and he can email it to me.

You can try to soak the foot in some hand warm water and see whether you can gently work it off. If not, then it is either a spur or something a vet needs to see. Horny spurs can also appear on the side of a front paw.
