Junior Guinea Pig
Hi piggy fans,
Can anyone recommend a good guide for UK plants/herbs that are edible for guinea pigs? I'd like to know 1) which plants/herbs/weeds piggies can safely eat and 2) how to identify them (especially important if they have non-edible lookalikes). I've only been collecting grass so far because of my poor identification skills/knowledge which is a shame because there is so much edible stuff out there... I realize there is probably no comprehensive ID book titled "Edible plant guide for guinea pig owners" so 1) could be e.g. just a list on a webpage and 2) would need to be a detailed website with descriptions and photos or a book. Any advice appreciated. (UK-specific guides only, please). Thanks!
