I have had my special little boy for about 3 and a half weeks now and he has come on leaps and bounds and is finally starting to gain some weight. He was quite finicky about vegetables whilst at the rescue, but I think living next to my girls has really encouraged him to try new things- he has been getting a small bowl of veg in the morning and evening with lots of different things in and to my suprise he only refuses to eat a few things, so far: tomato, brocoli, pepper.
I have even started him with begging for handfed celery leaves, but he isn't very sure
He is even eating a fair amount of his pellets as well, which he would hardly touch when he first came home.
With all his excitable popcorning and zooming every day, I think he was using more calories than he was actually eating- but we now seem to have turned a corner and for the first time since being here- he is over 800g
