I phoned BARC today to talk about getting Edward a friend they gave me a number of a lady who fosters guineas. What a lovely lady she was, after a long talk with her I am going to get Edward neutered this has been in my mind for a while but was worried. The lady recommended a vet and after speaking to them I am ready to go ahead.I am not going to tell Edward as he may worry lol

All set Edward is booked in for the third of march at Alfreton park vets

It's always best to get a vet that's experienced in neutering. I always advise to check where your local rescue gets there's done. It should be pretty routine & sometimes you don't need to take them back unless there's a problem or stitches are still there 2 or 3 weeks later. Edward won't mind especially if he's getting a lady friend after he's safe to meet one after 6 weeks.

These vets are experienced, its going to be a bit of a nightmare getting there for us but after advice we think these are our best bet. They don't use stitches they use glue, has any one any experience with this?

Those vets have a very good reputation, so you are in safe hands. I have heard about glueing. It is used quite often these days. With an experienced vet, Edward will end up with two very small incisions anyway!

Haif of me is worried to death and the other half is giddy about getting him a wife but I do feel better about him been with these vets
