Eliza has red / orange wee just like Connie so I am taking her to the vets tomorrow :( As some of you may know, I have been having problems with Connie since November and it now looks like the same thing is happening with Eliza :( I'm just so confused as to why it is happening to both of them :0 Unlike Connie, she hasn't done any squeeking whilst going to the toilet but I think it is best to have her checked out. An exotic vet told my vet that Connie's urine will probably always be a strange colour now but I don't understand why Eliza suddenly has it too.

Sounds as though it is connected in some way Claire, hope she is ok, let me know how she gets on. Check out those meds on Lynx site before you go.

What dry food do they have? perhaps you could try changing it? hope the vet can sort her x

I'm sorry Eliza is now having some problems. It sounds like it *may* be diet related - may not be anything to do with it, but it might explain why they both have this. Are they on bottled (or at least filtered) water? Switching to plain pellets is also worth a go.

Luckily Eliza has no blood in her urine but the vet would just like to have a closer look at a urine sample if it continues to make sure crystals are not developing or something. She isn't on antibiotics and apart from the urine colour, she is in tip top health x
