As some of you may know, Eliza had an eye removed at the beginning of September.
A stubborn infection that she caught after the eye was removed meant we had to leave the eye cavity open in order to flush and drain it daily.
The infection finally cleared up and fresh granulation tissue is slowly filling up her eye cavity.
Things have been fine up until yesterday where the new skin in the eye cavity is bleeding every now and then
On closer inspection, I think she must have caught it as I know granulation tissue is very fragile.
I keep the area where her eye was removed clean with hibiscrub, cotton wool and warm water as it produces some discharge but any ideas what I can do about the bleeding? It isn't like I can just put a plaster on it
Thank you in advance x
